Busina Brass Quintet is an international chamber ensemble of brass musicians that has been captivating audiences for nearly two decades with energetic and virtuosic performances. Founded in 2007 in Zagreb within the Busina association, the ensemble brings together distinguished musicians of a younger generation who perform as orchestral players, soloists, and educators in Croatia and abroad.

Through its concert programs, Busina Brass Quintet offers audiences a dynamic and engaging musical experience that combines the classical tradition with a contemporary approach to chamber music performance. Their repertoire spans a wide range of styles—from works by great composers such as Mozart, Bizet, and Verdi, to jazz and Latin standards, as well as popular and film music—creating concerts that become vibrant musical journeys across different periods and genres.

The ensemble regularly performs on concert stages and festivals throughout Croatia and has appeared internationally across Europe and Asia.

Busina Brass Quintet also frequently collaborates with vocalist Irma Dragičević, presenting programs that combine the rich sound of a brass ensemble with expressive vocal interpretation. These performances feature arrangements of jazz standards, evergreen classics, film music, and well-known songs from popular and contemporary repertoire, creating concerts that are both artistically refined and highly accessible to a broad audience.

Recognized for their virtuosity, powerful ensemble sound, and engaging stage presence, Busina Brass Quintet brings a unique musical energy to every performance, appealing equally to classical music enthusiasts and wider audiences.
